Our monthly outreach to the homeless quickly turned into a disaster response deployment. After heavy rains, falling temps and many of our neighbors having all their belongings washed away, we were a welcome respite from a cold, hard day. A hot meal, clothing, hat and a pair of gloves showed that they were cared about.
A story related by many was "hey , we lost everything last night- we saw your flyer, can't believe you all are here in this weather! Thank you!!" This over and over.
Join us ! Donations keep this ministry alive! Monthly food programs are expensive and we need your help.
"The most requested/needed items for a homeless ministry are socks.. would you consider heading up a sock drive at your work, in you department, etc?
Easy! It can even be a competition. Just gather the socks over a 2 week period and bam! Let us know when to pick up- or drop them at the Abundance cart in the great hall."
--sub in coat for socks, shoes ect..

Activities
Every Soul Matters Ministries is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.
Our monthly homeless outreach at Walker park has been up and running for almost 3 years! Our version of a pop-up care village using "radical hospitality"- a Lava Mea concept that we have adopted- is growing . We have added a free book exchange, bible giveaway, and sporadic barber services! Along with our food and clothing distribution to all our unhoused neighbors along with any in need.

Stellar customer service for people on the streets, our guests, includes the basic human right to clean, safe and consistent bathing facilities! With over 3000 homeless people in Washington and Benton counties this is a much needed service
